Landmine 04:26
I was a landmine Taking the ground from underneath Everyone who tried I was hungover The moment before I realized That I made you cry You were in the band I was out drinking in the rain Now who needs a hand? Now who needs a hand? Now who needs a hand? There is nothing that comes after There is nothing that comes after There is nothing that comes after There is nothing that comes after I was a landmine Pulling the ground from underneath Everyone who tried I looked so pretty Too bad I didn’t do a thing My mind was drifting You were my best friend I let the world slide by like sand Falling through fingers Running through fingers Sifting through fingers There is nothing that comes after There is nothing that comes after There is nothing that comes after There is nothing that comes after

Sneaky 03:47
All the meat I don’t need Extracted in factories Scorched skin in Nebraska heat Why won’t anyone feel bad for me? People that I refuse to see Doing all the work I need I think I’m king of the world But ten suited men own everything All the fuel I don’t need Spilled like the blood of a million armies Set fire to the shining sea The Spring dew eats through the leaves Collateral people Killed in the conquest of liberty Silos boasting we’re so free Writing your own history
3.
Like Birds 05:49
I watch the birds fly by in here They sing these songs this time of year The little hummingbirds, nimble and perched in thin air Watch me watch TV in this chair The tube plays news and daytime drab The host is kind﹣reminds me to laugh The bloodhound rests his head on me The outside world﹣a mystery Choose your words like they’re your last All things pass All things pass All things pass

Elevator doors are closing You’re on the other side One last goodbye I met you dressed in tan With your dog, drinking gin You mentioned that everything must end Elevator doors are closing You’re on the other side One last goodbye I came by, had some gin Melted like the ice in it The flame was dead by the time I left The flame was dead by the time I left Elevator doors are closing You’re on the other side One last goodbye You still call, hear me out With a band to talk about It’s everything, Jennifer

The Jam 06:32
See the lights Blue and pink The man on stage spits just what he thinks The band was in between drinks You told me this was your favorite spot To see your friends get lost in thought Everybody knows you’re hiding what you got The house band A regular crew Once they run out of things to do They’ll hand a guitar to me or you The light is red on the vacant stage You grab the mic with grace We flow with the keys and dance with the bass You said If I’d only known If I’d only known If I’d only known Over hypnotic, harmonic drones If I’d only known the places you’ll go You exit the stage when your moment’s done Stand or dance in front To let someone else go and have their fun You said If I’d only known If I’d only known If I’d only known Over hypnotic, harmonic drones If I’d only known the places you’ll go

Like Bugs 06:35
My head is an overheated machine I go to work when I dream Eyes are sucked out into screens No one knows what anything means No wolves howl in the shadows of factories Trees have no more leaves for your stories Rivers are dry and I’m getting thirsty I yearn to be earth like bugs in the leaves I yearn to be earth, not part of a machine I yearn to be earth, not part of a machine I yearn to be earth, not part of a machine I yearn to be earth, not part of a machine My head is an overheated machine I go to work when I dream Eyes are sucked out into screens No one knows what anything means No wolves howl in the shadows of factories Trees have no more leaves for your stories Rivers are dry and I’m getting thirsty I yearn to be earth like bugs in the leaves

Stratosphere 05:46
You fell asleep in my arms and we laid there Played Stratosphere until four in the morning I was a fool to upset the balance I don’t need ties you were there beside me Who says it’s gotta be anything? I want to be near you my friend again I blush around the folks wearing boots I saw myself in your laugh in your tunes And the way that you left once you knew about how I felt I don’t need ties you were there beside me Who says it’s gotta be anything? I want to be near you my friend I want to be near you my friend I want to be near you my friend To be near you my friend My friend Friend Friend Who says it’s gotta be anything? I want to be near you my friend My friend Friend

The cat, he meows all day He can’t go out for the biodiversity I’m banging my head for you For you I’m banging my head for you For you My roommate’s home I got nothing to say He says hello and goes on his way I’m banging my head for you For you I’m banging my head for you For you We met on the internet It did not work out I’m banging my head for you For you I’m banging my head for you For you

Teen Beet 04:54
CPU crash Like a stone pierces the water Drum machine, carry me Through the endless straight Slide through my fingers Sow tiny ripples Woke from a dream Digital knife devers the signal Drum machine, carry me Through the endless straight Slide through my fingers Sow tiny ripples

about

Rig B’s Big Night Out was written and recorded by Ryan Bigelow during the 2020 quarantine with bandmates Luca Kupper, Thomas Luminoso & Ash Richter.

Ryan sings quiet melodies drenched in spring reverb and tape echo over loud shoegazing guitars, fuzzy basslines, droning organs & motorik drum rhythms.

Big shout out to all of my friends' bands who surely inspired me to write this record such as Total Wife, Thomas Luminoso, Zook, Rube, The Styrofoam Winos, and Heinous Orca.
-Ryan
